The World Checklist of Selected Plant Families lists Scilla melaina <
http://wcsp.science.kew.org/namedetail.do/… > as an accepted
plant name.  So I guess we are safe in using it.  Most of the names once
included in Scilla seem to have wandered elsewhere in recent years, so this
is a refreshing exception to the rest of the nomenclatorial migrations.
