Hi Diana,
I had a similar problem. My new web designer asked directly to the domain
registrar attaching my id document to his request.
In a very few days my domain was transferred to the new server overpassing
the host.
You have to ask to an higher authority, showing you are the domain owner,
but you need the help of some web developper.
