I loved the in person get-togethers that PBS did years ago in northern California, and it'd be great to try to create the online equivalent. I'd be happy to participate and help. I spend most of my day on Zoom, so I'd be glad to share pointers with anyone. For the blue face thing, just put some lamps nearby, near you but behind the computer so your face is illuminated. It's good to put a couple of lamps at different angles, to fill in shadows on your face. You also want to be sure there is more light in front of you than behind, so the camera won't put you in silhouette.
