Here’s an example sitting on my table of one of Farmer Gracy’s Drimia maritima (as Kew has it) bulbs. I had a batch in recently. I also have others from seed which are growing well and in their 2nd year I think (Seed 2018: SRGC 3864) and also bulbs from CGF, which are much smaller than this, but came infected with scale insects (which they don’t have now).

Farmer Gracy Bulbs: ‘Guess the ploidy’ ?

Mark.
