My local library was able to provide me with a pdf of the 2001 Orchid Digest monograph: "A Synopsis of The Genus Pleione" by Phillip Cribb & Ian Butterfield." It is 26 pages long and has about 54 color photos of Pleione species and hybrids in flower. It is a 9 MB file. The PBS wiki has a page on the genus Pleione, an orchid species growing from pseudobulbs. The above monograph is quite comprehensive.
