Interestingly, just this weekend Annie’s Annuals and Perennials - located in Berkeley, CA - offered this tulip for the first time in my memory. She’s selling to a widely based mail order audience but most of her customers, I’d say, garden in the San Francisco Bay Area. She says “hardy to Zone 4.” Worth a try. I think this may be her first venture into bulbs other than Freesias.
