Albuca batteniana

Thanks for the reply.

I've seen that website, and it's one of only two where the plant looks
noticeably different from pictures of nelsonii. As it's of wild plants in
one locality...well, who knows? Maybe it's variable over its range? Can you
confirm it always has an appearance similar to those plants?

Unfortunately, my bulbs are barely 7cm across, so the 15cm leaf base thing
doesn't help in my case. I assume you are talking about old, fully-grown
plants. If you or anyone has pictures of younger plants, it would be a
great help.

I have seen a habitat shot by EVJ where the plants look like something
halfway between A. bracteata and A. nelsonii (bulbs looking like nelsonii).
