Daffodils Multiplies And Too Small To Flower

Right now the daffodils are in active growth, leaves and roots. I heave
them out of the soil with a spading fork, in clumps of intertwined
bulbs, leaves, roots, soil. They wouldn't "do" if washed free of soil
and mailed off to Lumita for next BX. I'm not even sure if the ones I
potted up will be of flowering size next year.

Fahrenheit

Potted up close to 100 of the larger bulbs. Now need to harden my heart and toss the remainder in the compost heap. I plan to use a liquid fertilizer until they go dormant, then replant somewhere else.
