I have read that the South African oxalis bloom best if watering commences in August, but no specifics about when in August. Also wanted to know how temperature relates to the timing. Here in the Sacramento California area it is supposed to be in the hundreds for several days this week, and I am sure these won’t be the last hundred degree days. I am growing the following: Oxalis bowiei Oxalis purpurea White’ Oxalis fragrans Oxalis versicolor All are in pots except pupurea, which is on a dry gravel covered terrace. I have searched the list but haven’t come across these specifics.
