Hi Uli, based on the timing I'd go for Kniphofia sarmentosa, which actually can flower in a favorable winter in a German vineyard climate - though my survivors of last, not so favorable, winter do not seem to have buds this year. Of course, yours is more colorful than mine has ever been, you know the little winter light we get here at 48.7° ...
