Galanthus Theresa Stone

'Theresa Stone' is indeed a selection of G. elwesii. I got mine from
Louise, too, in 2000.
In my garden it has not been slow to increase, by any means, as the
attached photo shows. (There are also some G. rizehensis, gracilis,
plicatus, nivalis and others in the group pictured, but most of them are
Theresa or her progeny. They're even escaping into the less hospitable
front yard.)
There are a number of species which flower earlier (G. peshmenii is the
first here, and is long done flowering), but I can usually count on seeing
the first flowers on Theresa some time before the end of January.
