Yes the lighting is an issue for us here in the NE USA.
Days are shorter and the intensity is far less than in SA.
I've added two LED fixtures and I keep in during daylight hours to augment the light levels.

Here is a photo of my Daubenya capensis. First time flowering. Comparing it to our wiki I think I do not have strong enough lighting. My leaves are more erect. My photos are not nearly as nice as Arnold’s.
