About the weather!

Dear all,
Since I cannot do much to change this weather, I will just report that our
highs were below zero F for the last few weeks. The lows were so low, both
in F and C, that every morning I was wondering if I'll find large ice cubes
with fish in my pond that I keep open in the winter, due to the pump
breaking down. -19F or about -28C was my breaking point of spending any
time outside. And the newspaper article that was trying to convince me to
"embrace the cold weather" remained unread, while the fireplace was running
overtime!

Plants outside - all covered up with large amount of snow, snow that will
grow taller today due to another 2-3 inch snow fall.
Seeds inside - still hiding in the starter soil.
Everything else - just holding. Brugmansias don't even have buds.

What's blooming inside? African violets, Ocimum basilicum, Cyclamen
persicum and 2 Lemon trees. Nothing more.

Luminita
Mpls, Zone 4-5 - like really? More like 3 ...;(
