Hippeastrum fertility

This will be an interesting experiment.  I have three enormous pods on a generic red hippeastrum (recently bought at the grocery store) pollinated by Nerine undulata.  Pods are also forming on some plants that I literally just bought when Wally World had them marked down to $2.50 each, which I crossed as they all came into bloom.  Ditto for one that I pollinated with a green cybister type that another member brought by for a conjugal visit.

So when all of these pods ripen and split, I'll see what, if anything, is inside and see what, if anything, germinates when planted.  I'll try to get pics to share if there's anything interesting to see.

A friend has offered to do embryo rescue in her prop lab, but I plan to reserve that favor for other intergeneric tests that are more central to my breeding interests.
