Underground Greenhouse in NE

Found while rummaging through the bookshelves: a discussion of pit
greenhouses in "The Solar Greenhouse Book", Rodale press, edited by James
McCullagh. I think that there is still a hundred+ year old pit greenhouse
at Logee's in Danielson CT dedicated to growing mostly herbs the last time
I saw it.
