Pseudogaltonia clavata

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your comments about the Pseudogaltonia and puya. I got the Pseudogaltonia from a seller in South Africa, it was around the size of a grape, but I’m not sure how old it was. I planted it in pure pumice. I water it about once every two weeks in the summer and not at all in the winter. It bloomed for me the second year after I planted it and has bloomed every year since. It tolerates extreme heat (like we’re having now) very well.
