Years ago I realized that my ability to run an intensive care unit did not mean that I had to do so in my yard either in Massachusetts or Mexico. If it gets beyond fun, you don’t have to do it. We all accept Rimmer as an extraordinary master and guru with seeds and bulbs, but even then, not everything wants to grow in Kentucky. The plants spent millions of years developing their quirks and preferences. Rimmer, you could send these recalcitrant bulbs to Luminita at her next exchange, and we could have fun sending you the weirdest things we have that might want to grow for you.
