I grow a number of Ferraria in a cold greenhouse. Most have flowered but one or two just make leaves and multiply well
I place them in their pots  in a cool basement for a summer rest.
They get a drink in early fall and I wait for growth to commence

Hi all,

I have mine in huge pots in the (barely) frost free side building I use
as a green house. My main problem is water management: I place them
outside in the rain mid September and have to be very careful to get
them dry enough for the winter cold. I found that artificial lighting
helps them a lot - but then again I'm at 48.7°, that equals more or less
the USA/Canadian border, so my winters are darker than for most of you.

For now, crispa is the only species I get to flower (+ welwitschii, but
that's a summer grower), and those are plants I got flowering size from
Lauw. I have a few seedlings that increase over the years, but may take
several more years at this pace.
