Robert Parks writes that his "gateway drug" to bulbs was Amorphophallus. This take on what gets us into bulbs is one I find fascinating. I'd love to hear more stories of what your "gateways" to bulbs were. Mine was a packet of cyclamen seed 35 years ago from Park Seed... I was ready to throw the tray out when germination began. Took a while to connect the dots - you know, one leaf, tiny bulb and now what do I do???
