Can anyone advise on how big Ornithogalum longibracteum (aka Albuca bracteata) needs to be before it blooms?  I have seedlings that are about six months old and maybe 2 cm diameter.  I'm hoping they are an intergeneric hybrid so naturally I'm impatient to see a bloom!

I imported the mother plant from SA Bulb last summer.  It's growing like a weed in the greenhouse and blooms repeatedly, presently carrying two bloom scapes and pods representing another intergeneric cross if I pollinated it carefully enough.

Bob  E Tenn where we got another 3" of rain in the last 24 hours.  Thankful to be on top of the Ridge and not in Nashville battling the Cumberland River.
