S. striatum has creamier colored flowers with deeper yellow centers.  Also
the flower arrangement is wrong for S. striatum.
Also, S. californicum has two variants that I have grown.  My current one
grows about 3" (7-8 cm) and there is a taller variant that grows at more
than twice as tall that I have grown in the past.
