Hi Mike

I’ve done this many times.  They are really really easy to grow.  In San Diego area, they prefer bright indirect light - at least until they are larger.  Are you by the coast or inland?  Along the coast, they can handle more direct light.  I’m sure they’ll do fine through the summer and without much attention, just the occasional soak.
