Hello,

I was at a local garden center in San Diego yesterday and saw a display of
the plant on the left in my attached photos. The plant on the right,’is
one of my V. Bractiata standard pink bloom type. I obtained from Telos
several years ago. ( Diana these vigiorously went from 3 bulbs to 16 large
bulbs )!
The Velthemia Bractiata on the left is very different in leaf color, shape
of leaf, height of stalk?

It was grown by San Marcos Growers in Santa Barbara. It’s label read as
Velthemia Bractiata. I saw a reference on the SMG site saying this in the
past was considered Velthemia Vividifolia. ( described it perfectly ).

I bought one since it is a type Velthemia new to ne.

Out of curiosity why wouid it not be considered more distinctly from
Velthemia Bractiata?
