Dear PBS members living in the UK, In addition to the email you got if you showed interest in the Gladiolus Book by Rachel and Rod Saunders, I have to inform you that it seems that extra charges might apply if you order the book through the PBS. The logistics is as such that the books will be sent in bulk from South Africa to Martin Bohnet in Germany who will do the re-distribution for the EU and the UK. Which means that your personal copy will be posted to you from the EU. I have been informed by a knowledgable member in the UK that customs and VAT charges may apply on top of what you would have paid to the PBS. We are still willing to send you the book but please be aware of this. I am sorry to send this as a second email and apologize for any inconvenience; I was not aware of this situation when I sent out the first one. As stated before, we cannot compete with the pricing of WHSmith in the UK.
