Dear All,

I have replied privately to Herrn Schaaf in German, unfortunately I do not have such old issues.
But isn’t there an initiative to digitalize the old issues of Herbertia? Who is doing this again? I do not remember. Maybe he or she can help?

Bye for now

Uli

Dear garden bulb friends
I do write from Germany - please excuse my mistakes.
My historical inquiry is as follows:
Your society published the first journal Herbertia in 1934 with a very,
very interesting article ?Amaryllis in Germany? by author Max Loebner
(page 186 and a picture on page 157 a plate about this).
Unfortunately it?s impossible for me here in Germany to get this article
- but the author Max Loebner was a german plantbreeder! So I?m unlucky
to can read this article. Please let me ask most polite do can help me
with a copy of the article on page 186 and 157 (I don?t know which
number this is). Thank you for your accommodating as great help.
Sincerely Andreas Schaaf / Leipzig (Germany)
