hyper-sensitive internet providers

Sadly, censorship is always a blunt instrument.  When our tech giants can banish members of an unfavored political party from the marketplace of ideas while giving unfettered access to the Taliban, it becomes clear that the future of Western Civilization isn't looking good.  There is no need to burn books, because no one reads books any more.  In our dystopia, all it takes is to install nannyware that can eliminate words from the dictionary, remove them from whatever you try to write using MS Word, etc.
Will we need to use our own workarounds, such as using "6" to replace "g" and "3" to replace "e" in botanical names?  Time will tell.

My provider doesn't bounce messages for this reason, but it flags some
as offensive, and the main target is plant names including the Latin
word for "black."

On the other hand, the application that forwards "contact" emails
through the PBS website to certain individuals, of whom I am one, is
occasionally hacked by something that routes messages that, judging from
the subject line, are pornographic! Never downloaded or opened here!
