I wonder if moisture triggered this flowering? My plants of C. hierosolymitanum are not up yet -- only C. kotschyi is flowering in the bulb house, which has not yet received more than a light sprinkle of water to maintain a little humidity. I don't know what triggers flowering in Colchicum.
