Here, I hope, is the image of that bulb clump. By the way, I stated that ‘it had to be from near the Richtersveld’. That is correct because that is where I recall seeing wonderful clumps growing between granite slabs. The species, of course, occurs in a wider range of sites in the western Cape Province.
