Pollinating waterlily

Hello Laura,

You mentioned something I have never come across: pollinating waterlily (Nymphaea) with embryonic fluid? What is this about?  Did you create new hybrids this way? I cannot imagine that you refer to the embryonic fluid which surrounds a fetus, that of course is familiar to me. 
I hope my question is not too off-topic, many waterlilies have tubers…..

I use a similar syringe with curved plastic tip for collecting
embryonic fluid for pollinating water lilies.
