Getting closer ... Veltheimia bracteata 'Lemon Flame'. San Diego, February 20, 2022. The Yellow should intensify over the next few days. Pay no attention to those weeds in the background. ;-) This has been a poor/no seeder for me, so in December I removed 1 leaf from each of the larger bulbs, cut in half, and I am attempting to grow bublets off them in perlite. Haven't checked yet on progress, but I think our unusually warm Winter has been detrimental.
