Cyclamen coum 'Yayladagi"

Cyclamen coum is hardy to at least Zone 6 US  and depending on conditions, add another zone lower. In a marine climate, yes, it can spread around by ants. Vancouver Island, BC has a problem in some areas. Mostly the coum that turn up in odd places here are because I dumped old potting soil here and there, but it would take many years to spread just as it has taken years to spread on Vancouver Island. Someone from BC could give us more information as I haven't followed up in the last few years.

I would think the high humidity of Tennessee would be the limiting factor. I know that Florida is not all hospitable to most species Cyclamen.
