I'd forgotten that I received an AGS seed order and a SRGC order just in the last week or two, signed off by two different inspectors. The excuse for the removal of two packets in one order was disease. The excuse for the removal of two others in the second order was debris in the seed.

While a Phyto certificate is not required for small lots, They are
usually available for $25 or less and can prevent all kinds of trouble.
For large seed orders or for bulbs they are often well worth the expense.
