I just watched a presentation of a GORGEOUS garden in South Africa with many glorious Wachendorfia - I don't know which species but it made me curious about testing it in my Southern California garden. Can anyone tell me if there are Wachendorfia that will tolerate just 9 or 10" of rainfall in a year? And does anyone know a source in California - Southern California preferably.
