The bulb garden costs about $1900 to print. Mailing has become more and more expensive especially for overseas members. I’d estimate about $600 for both domestic and overseas.
The editing will still have to be done so there’s no savings there
So that’s about $2500 per issue four times a year.

Our real strength is all the active members who generously donate to the SX and BX programs, and it sounds like virtually all of them are on board with the pdf version.
