Polianthes new cultivars

Have the previous genus names been retained as designating sections
within the lumped genus? My interest is only academic, since I can't
grow any of these plants without a heated greenhouse, but it makes me
wonder if we should be adding something like "Sect. Polianthes" after
the new names, if only to clarify matters for people familiar with the
older classification.

> Tony, I love your article (and your polygeneric hybrid names!). But mainly I like how you explain what to do with over-lumping because of newly-found paraphyly. Can you talk someone into doing that with the now overly-lumped genus Zephyranthes? Having each branch of the family tree as well as the outliers all have their own distinctive genus name seems *so* much more logical—and informative—to me, but I’m not a botanist so what do I know?
