Leigh got the box back from DHL, which had been sitting on it for a month or so. She replaced things that had died while in DHL's custody, and switched to air freight using a broker in NY. The new shipment was prepared, along with a new phyto and other docs; Johann took it to the airport yesterday, and today it has landed at JFK. The freight broker will handle customs clearance and get it to APHIS for inspection and it will go on to Bridget from there. The shipping costs will be higher for sure, but if the alternative is rotting on the ground in Johannesburg, it's the clear winner. More later when further movement has occurred. Thanks for your understanding; what went on at DHHell was completely absurd and out of our control. But we're finally moving toward a happy ending.
