Greetings,

I'll be leading a walk to view the hyper-endemic Calochortus tiburonensis on Saturday June 7th at 10am. The trip is organized by the San Francisco chapter of the California Native Plant Society but is a walk open to the public. You will need to sign an online waiver.

Explore Ring Mountain

Field Trip Leader: Kipp McMichael

Hike the nearly 2-mile loop trail uphill and back to search for Calochortus tiburonensis and other wildflowers in bloom at Ring Mountain in Tiburon.

Enjoy views along the rock slopes and grassland hillsides. The CNPS Marin chapter worked with the Nature Conservancy to prevent development of this site, as a park for the public to enjoy, and to protect the unique native plants and habitats. Thus, the Phyllis Ellman Trail is named to honor her successful advocacy.

We'll meet at the end of Westward Dr in Tiburon: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4QiAxsxYg61fMWnPA/

Please note: Field trips participants must submit an online waiver<https://app.waiversign.com/e/…>
