Several members ordered the 50 mixed iridaceae grab bag and were surprised to get separate bags of particular genera within this group. That was necessary because the invoice must call out all the plants by genus and we have to have all those genera on our permit. So I asked Leigh to pack each genus separately and I made sure our permit includes all the possible genera. The culture cards on the bags show a particular species but you should expect that when your bulbs bloom there will indeed be an assortment. Sorry for any confusion. The second box has been sitting at DHL in Johannesburg for a week while Leigh tries to convince someone to put it on a plane. I have no rational explanation for what has been going on there - some truly world-class nincompoopery the likes of which I never saw in 23 years at ORNL, and that's saying something. Leigh and I hope we can get through this without one of us having a stroke. So please bear with us.
