Note on this item: The original seeds were collected from supposedly the southernmost location (in the Southern Hemisphere) where this naturally grows, and so therefore may be the most cold-hardy variety of it. I don’t know how much cold other varieties of this species tolerate, but I have grown them outside in southern California inland coastal valley (San Gabriel Valley including right up against the San Gabriel Mountains at 1200 ft altitude) all year round with no protection whatsoever for years. The “trunk” gets very large. They are now in 5 gallon pots with a 6 to 7 inch (15-18 cm) diameter base. > *61- Crinum pedunculatum ex Rob Hamilton, Broulee, south NSW, Australia * --Lee Poulsen San Gabriel Valley, California, USA - USDA Zone 10a Latitude 34°N, Altitude 340 ft/100 m _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net https://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> PBS Forum https://…
