The founders of this group wanted discussion to be about geophytes and
their companions. I have often noticed that off topic discussions
generated more responses so people were interested in other things. It
is really helpful if the subject indicates what the topic is about so
that people who aren't interested can skip it. For example pbs Digest,
Vol 103, Issue 13 doesn't let anyone know that the subject is really
help for identifying a plant. I don't know how hard it is to change the
title of the subject on some devices, but if you can do it to make it
fit the discussion, I'm sure some readers would appreciate it. Also we
erred on the side of inclusiveness when we created the wiki. That made
some people unhappy as they felt there were things on it that didn't
belong. Mike Mace came up with a wiki page to explain what we included
as a guide for anything new to be added. It's worth a read since he
spent some time creating it. The bulb in Pacific Bulb Society includes a
lot more than true bulbs.
