It’s not true blue (like Tecophilaea!), but it is so strikingly different that it stands out looking like a different color when displayed with all the other colors and varieties of cyclamens at the nurseries I’ve been to. It may just be the contrast with all the other colors of cyclamens, but to my eye it definitely had a bit of bluishness to its purple color. It didn’t just look like a darker purple than other cyclamens; it looks like it is a real shift a little further around the CIE color space chart from other cyclamen colors. --Lee Poulsen San Gabriel Valley, California, USA - USDA Zone 10a Latitude 34°N, Altitude 340 ft/100 m > On Jan 13, 2026, at 15:11, Ceridwen Lloyd via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> wrote: > > Alas, a darkish cyclamen-purple, not really true blue > Sent from my iPhone > >> On 14 Jan 2026, at 09:19, Laura Grant via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> wrote: >> >> https://schoneveld-breeding.com/from-chance-discov… >> _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net https://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> PBS Forum https://…
