Dear All, As someone who took advantage of Bill's wonderful hospitality when he hardly knew us, I encourage anyone who is going to New Zealand to seek him out. I learned a lot and Bill and Willy are wonderful company. Bill took us to meet Jim Forrest, the man Alberto wrote about, which was a real treat. In a letter I received from Jim later he wrote, "I've grown some 8000 species in my time, but alas some seem to have gone missing along the line." Jim and his wife are recent additions to e-mail. It would be terrific if we could talk him into joining our group with his wealth of knowledge. Mary Sue
