Hippeastrum again

Hello Group,
It seems the Hippeastrum taxonomy has gotten me going... As for the H.
puniceum v. haywardii, I think it lists as H. soratense. As for Amaryllis
espiritensis, I believe it is now H. espiritense. While reviewing the IPNI and MOBOT
Tropicos3, I believe some species, etc. have yet to be revised into Hippeastum
and remain in Amaryllis. (OR the data base information has to be revised...)
I think. I know Meerow et.al. did a paper concerning some Amaryllis >
Hippeastrum a few years back and I need to get a copy of it. Armchair research
like this makes me a bit "knurtz" with all the "I think" and "I believe"
statements...

Thank you German for the species recommendations. I am working on a
hybridization project and collecting as much information as possible. I seem to be
hitting a wall when it comes to finding the above two species. I am quite
certain the plants where available at some time (under *some* name) but perhaps
they have disappeared into oblivion.

Be Well
Michael Loos
