What's Blooming

Dear all,

I've been lurking on the list for a while and have
some blooms to report. Hermodactylus tuberosus has
been blooming for a fortnight now and Erythronium
multiscapoideum (from Telos) is just opening. The
leaves of Dracunculus vulgaris are thrusting skyward.
I had great success with Allium scubertii and Scilla
peruviana during my previous four years in Alpine;
they are growing vigorously now but not blooming yet.
There are many other bulbs coming up now on which I'll
report later. We had a mild, Tucson-like winter until
late February when we finally had a night in the
mid-teens Fahrenheit.
