Jane,
The Trials are in their final year now. I visited Wisley this spring were
the trials are held and met the committee. The results will be available
probably this summer. As I sent in a few bulbs I will get these results too,
I will keep you informed.

Regarding the comments on variation and confusion in species of Muscari, I
recall reading about two years ago that a trial of "little blue bulbs"
(Muscari, Scilla, and presumably Hyacinthella and Bellevalia?) was under
way at Kew. I don't know whether any taxonomic activity was intended to
come out of this, though.

Does anyone who lives closer to Kew know the outcome of that?

Northwest Oregon, where Scilla lilio-hyacinthus (or S. pratensis--I can't
sort them out) is just coming into flower in the garden.
