Dear Mary Sue and Jane:
The new images of PCI are superb. They are
generally regarded as not the easiest plants in the world (perhaps except
from seed): I agree. Iris purdyi is said to be very rare now.
Since the material in the trade as species is not really true to name I
wonder if it would be possible to obtain wild collected seed through the BX.
It would be great if a number of growers can learn to grow these beautiful
plants to perfection.
