Mark: All I can recommend is that my lycoris are in a very damp spot. They sit next to a cardiocrinum and some chinese species lilies that all have thrived. It gets about three to four hours of direct sun and then shade. Arnold P.S. Or you could move to Kansas City, Indiana or New Jersey
