A slight annotation:
Regarding names like "xAmarygia", Rodger wrote,
Treat these like any other genus, ignoring the x (but
>showing it) where alphabetization is involved.

In publications, the symbol before the name is not the letter "x", but 
rather the multiplication sign. Using the latter when making lists will 
permit automatic alphabetization that would be thrown off by using the letter.
