    There is a photo of the ' James Backhouse '  in the Bishop,Grimshaw and 
Davis snowdrop book on p.227 showing two of many possible permutations of the 
extra petal(s).  ' Atkinsii '  itself is one of the most noble snowdrops known 
to me.
