If one could only find room to grow two of these plants, which two would you choose?  Clearly this is an opinion question, but I'd love to hear what folks have to say.  I woul like the following considered in the answers;

1.  Hardiness -I'm a 7b
2. Season of bloom - I'm of a mind that a long blooming season can trump in some cases a prettier flower.
3. Vigor -ease of growth - this too goes a long way. Rapid spread and or readiness to flower is a great asset
4. Intangeables - something that just makes a plant special that is hard to put one's inger on.

Thanks,

Steve

You guesses it, I don't have any of these right now. I've grown them before, but with little thought to cultivar and species. Impulse purchase at the garden center... Anyway, I appreciate any thought you put into this for me.

Thanks,

Steve
